Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bowie, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 33,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.

The BSU Tubman Hall Renovation project is an approximately 33,000 GSF traditional 3-story brick building with the original central wing constructed in 1921. The building is currently vacant but was used as residential housing as recently as 2022. The project involves a full interior renovation of the building to provide new residential suites of various sizes along with other support spaces. The scope includes providing a new central HVAC and electrical system, updating the security system including cameras, modification of the fire alarm system to meet the new configuration and addressing ADA compliant issues by providing a new elevator and lobby addition.
