Overview Summary The City of Independence is seeking a qualified entity or individual to provide the goods and/or services described herein. The City anticipates selecting one firm to perform the services. Bids are requested from Companies that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in this Invitation for Bid. Background Project includes preparation of a portion of Memorial Park (2001 Jackwoods Parkway) for a future recreational area by creating a level pad through the construction of a segmental block retaining wall, asphalt and concrete walkways, site excavation and embankment, installation of fencing and handrails, storm sewer improvements, yard restoration and erosion and sediment control. Question Submission Deadline:September 1, 2025, 12:00pm The Contractor shall notify the Engineer promptly of any discrepancies in, or omissions from the Contract Documents. The Engineer will issue a clarifying addendum to each person on record as having received a set of Contract Documents. The Owner will not be responsible for oral instruction or information. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to bid date cannot be answered. Any Addenda issued during the bidding period are to be included in the Proposal and shall become a part thereof.
