Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Ashland, Ohio. Working plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The owner has selected a Design Builder. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. Furnishing all design work, labor, materials, tools and equipment to construct Structure Bridge Replacement. Each bidder is required to furnish with the proposal, a Bid Guarantee and a Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety and shall be to the credit of the Ashland County Commissioners. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than June 1, 2026. Ashland County may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against Ashland County.
