**As of May 13, 2025, the project was awarded to Cuyahoga Fence, LLC, with an awarded amount of $282,042.13.** Ashland County Guardrail Installation and Upgrade Project 2025 Bidders must be listed on the ODOT pre-qualified list for highway construction. each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or a bond for the full amount of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond properly secured. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety and shall be to the credit of the Ashland County Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Transportation. The "Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond Instructions" found in the bid documents provides specific instructions with regard to Bid Guarantees and Contract Bonds. Should any bid be rejected, such instrument will be forthwith returned upon proper execution of a contract. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goal is 5% Ashland County may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful bidder against Ashland County. Any exceptions to the specifications are to be included in writing with the bid submitted.
