Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ashland, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
All materials must be ODOT approved by an ODOT approved supplier. Bids are to be submitted on a per gallon price. This work shall consist of the careful cleaning of the existing road surface and the application thereon of a single seal. The oil shall be applied using a computerized variable width asphalt distributer capable of applying 20' in one complete pass. Two pneumatic tire rollers meeting ODOT specifications for rolling of aggregate. All equipment must be ODOT certified. The Township will provide aggregate and traffic control as needed. The bidder will supply the road oil and applicator, aggregate spreader, loading & trucking of aggregate, and roller. Work must be completed by August 15, 2025 or the bidder shall pay the Township $100 per day past the deadline for liquid dated damages. The successful bidder shall furnish weight slips with each load of road oil and furnish a bid bond to ensure that the bidder will comply with the Township's request. The successful bidder shall also supply proof of liability insurance in the amount of 1.5 million dollars and must show proof as such naming Milton Township on the certificate.
