MW&L Answers to Bidder Questions - September 2, 2025 The general scope of this project is to install one owner supplied direct embedded steel transmission pole structure. The pole structure has been ordered and received by mw&l; contractor will be responsible for transporting the pole structure from mw&l's yard at 855 ne marsh lane, mcminnville, oregon to the jobsite at 3900 nw hombre street, mcminnville, oregon. The pole structure is in four pieces (slip joint) and will be assembled and erected by contractor. The project site is near the southwest corner of 3900 nw hombre st, mcminnville, oregon. Structure 2 is a new steel pole to be set at the corner intersection of two transmission lines. The existing transmission line has been temporarily relocated to allow overhead access for the pole location. The contractor is to coordinate with mw&l to de-energize nearby transmission lines if required. The contractor will be responsible for any required site access preparation. Site access is 70 feet from a dirt road across farmland. If any equipment cannot traverse the site as-is, the contractor is responsible for temporary access and site restoration to existing condition. Access is weather dependent. The contractor will be responsible for drilling/auguring holes for steel pole structures as indicated in the included project drawings. The depth of the hole is approximately 47.5' and the base diameter of the pole is 67" (this is the dimension of the pole base, not diameter of the hole). Once the pole is levelled, aligned, and set in place, contractor shall back fill with controlled low strength materials (clsm) as specified on drawing tm-101s. All work shall be substantially completed November 30, 2025. Estimate of $100K - $125K. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
