This requirement is for the installation of a security camera system at the USDA Forest Service, Kisatchie National Forest, Calcasieu Ranger District Office. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to install a complete and operational security camera system. The system must include indoor and outdoor cameras, recording equipment, and remote viewing capabilities. All work must comply with applicable codes and standards, and the contractor is responsible for testing and ensuring full functionality upon completion. Location: Calcasieu Ranger District Office, 9912 Highway 28 West, Boyce, LA 71409 Scope of Work: ARS research would be unsecured and unmonitored. Valuable assets, including equipment, real property, facilities, personnel, and data, would not be safeguarded from theft, vandalism, and other forms of damage. Additionally, the presence of a security camera deters potential criminal activity and intruders, providing real-time monitoring and alerts and contributing to a safe and secure environment for ARS personnel and their associated research. Background: We require Security Cameras installed in areas where ARS employees work. This system will need to be compatible with Avigilon system. We also require a camera license channel with a 1 year service plan. We would need the equipment to be compatible and all cables and materials supplied. The cameras need to range from 2 to 8 MP and be mini-dome with in-ceiling mount, indoor dome, and fisheye dome types, depending on the need for the space. Housings and brackets need to be included. The existing system is Avigilon and all cameras will need to be compatible with and integrate with existing systems.
