No questions may be answered within 72 hours of the bid opening. 2025 BLUE ASH RECREATION FITNESS CENTER ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT The City of Blue Ash is seeking a reputable roofing company to perform a roof replacement on the approximately 22,000 SF roof surface area (Contractor to verify prior to bid) located at the Blue Ash Recreation Center, 4433 Cooper Road, Blue Ash, Ohio, 45242. The City is requesting proposals to perform all work related to the outlined scope as indicated herein and as seen on the Scope Attachment to this RFP. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 located at 4433 Cooper Road, Blue Ash, Ohio, 45242 at 10:00 AM in the Cooper Room in the Blue Ash Recreation Center. Each Bidder is required to furnish, with his/her proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Proposals must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the same and all persons interested therein. It is the intent and requirements of the Owner that this project shall be completed no later than Friday, November 14, 2025, unless long lead materials or other factors such as weather dictate the completion date be extended. When the total overall project exceeds $75,000 bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County and the City of Blue Ash, Ohio, as ascertained and determined by the Administrator of the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services (OBES) as provided in Section 4115.05 through 4115.034 of the Revised Code of the State of Ohio. It is anticipated that the Prevailing Wage Law will apply to this project.
