Renovation of a parking garage in Huntington, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
This project entails the removal of the existing Overhead Door System and the installation of a commercial Overhead Sectional Door System. Location: Roush Lake, 519 N. Warren Road, Huntington, IN 46750, United States. The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 270 calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Contractor is responsible to replace six (6) garage doors on pole barn 1. Replacement shall consist of the following: Removal and disposal of existing doors, torsion bar and springs, door tracks, side and top weatherstripping. Care should be taken to remove existing door contacts for security system from each door. Installation of new door, torsion bar and 100,000 cycle springs, new appropriately sized tracks and nylon rollers with sealed bearing (rated for minimum 150K cycles at 190 lbs. each) with heavy-duty mounting brackets and hinges, side and top weatherstripping. All weatherstripping will be rated to resist rodents from chewing through. Contractor is responsible for any associated hardware, strut and brackets that are required for proper installation. All installation shall comply with manufactures instructions. Contractor shall coordinate with Security Monitoring company for the moving and/or relocating of any security system wiring and/or equipment that would interfere with new Garage Door system. Contractor shall reinstall contacts for the security system on each door and verify functionality. Doors will be Commercial Grade energy efficient Overhead Sectional door with a row of Full-View Frosted Glass Panel. The Glass shall be Double Pane (insulated). Door and weatherstripping colors to be approved by TPOC/COR. Contractor will replace six (6) garage door operators. Replacement shall consist of the following: Removal and disposal of existing garage door operators and associated mounting hardware. Installation of Commercial-Grade wall mounted direct drive operators approved by TPOC/COR prior to ordering (alternate style unit may be authorized to meet fitment requirements by TPOC/COR). Operators shall be appropriately sized for the garage door size and weight. Operator mounting location (left or right side) will be approved by TPOC/COR for each garage door. Garage door operator units will have an operational safety obstruction sensor system. Wall mounted push button controllers for each door will be installed in existing locations. Contractor is responsible for any building modifications required for proper door operator fitment. Contractor is responsible for any modification or relocation of electrical supply for each opener in accordance with NEC. Contractor is responsible for any associated hardware or brackets that are required for proper installation. All installation shall comply with manufactures instructions. 270 working days
