Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Arroyo Grande, California. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
**As of October 30, 2025, bids were rejected . No definite date for the rebid.** The project consists of clearing and grubbing, weeding, landscaping plant installation, watering, including maintenance and replacement planting for a five-year period. This landscaping is required to mitigate project impacts from the Traffic Way Bridge Replacement Project. Each bid must be accompanied by either a: 1. certified check 2. cashier's check bidder's bond made payable to the City of Arroyo Grande for an amount equal to ten percent of the bid amount as a guaranty. Guaranty will be forfeited to the City Arroyo Grande if the bidder, to whom the contract is awarded, fails to enter into the contract. Contract time is established as 15 working days, not including plant maintenance period. Plant maintenance period is 5 years and begins when all planting is complete. The City of Arroyo Grande reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any informality in a bid.
