Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Haven, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; educational facility; and elderly care / assisted living facility.

The City of West Haven is soliciting statements of qualifications (SOQs) and fee proposals from architectural firms for the design and code compliance analysis associated with the conversion of the Anna V. Molloy School into a Community Center. The building, originally designed for elementary school use, will now serve as a community center serving senior citizens, youth and individuals with disabilities. The project includes a full building code review, 100% design for accessible bathrooms, and evaluation of all entrances and exits. The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses, and to waive any or all formalities in connection with this request. Proposals which do not incorporate our requested format, including quoting items as described, will not be considered. Unless otherwise stated in the solicitation. No alternate responses will be considered unless alternate responses are specifically requested by the City. The City reserves the right to award multiple vendors under this solicitation. A response to this solicitation does not permit the City to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this request, or to procure the city contract for services, supplies or equipment.
