Grafton Street Fire Station - Bathroom Renovation / WFD The work to be done under this contract consists of executing and completing all work required for the Bathroom Renovation at the Southeast Fire Station, located at 745 Grafton St, Worcester, MA 01604. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1. Demolition of existing walls and bathroom fixtures. Construction and installation of new walls, a new shower enclosure, sink, and door to create a new shower room. Bid(5.0%), Performance(100%), Payment(100%), Certified Check All contractors and subcontractors if subcontracting any portion of the work are obligated to make a good faith effort to engage 10% minority and 15% women owned businesses. Further, each contractor shall make a good faith effort to maintain a workforce that is 38% people of color and 10% women. Completion- 90 days Question Deadline 09/05/2025 All questions and requests for clarifications or interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents shall be in writing, addressed to the Purchasing Department, City of Worcester, and to be given consideration must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. All questions must be referred in writing to Stephen McDonald via email at: MCDONALDS@WORCESTERMA.GOV
