Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kingsford, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Kingsford will receive sealed bids for paving on River Hills Road and North River Hills Road. All work shall conform to Michigan Department of Transportation specifications. The city anticipates that approximately 1,200 tons of bituminous asphalt paving will be placed along with approximately 7,300 square yards of pulverizing. The bituminous mixture shall be mixed and placed in accordance with applicable requirements specified for 4 EL Bituminous Mixture in Division 5 of the 2020 Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications. Penetration range for regular mixture shall be 58C to -34C. The hot plant mix bituminous aggregate surface course shall conform to the 2020 Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications.
