You are invited to submit a bid for the construction and installation of new cabinetry at Woodland Elementary for the 2nd grade pod. The project requires construction companies specializing in custom, commercial cabinetry to complete the work according to defined installation dates. The scope includes: 1. Construction and delivery of cabinets to Woodland Elementary by July 1, 2026. 2. Installation of cabinets scheduled from July 6 through August 7, 2026, with fines of $1,000 per day for not meeting the deadline after August 17, 2026. 3. Provide and install Wilsonart Laminate D90-60 (North Sea) finish cabinetry for 7 classrooms (404, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, and 410). 4. Interiors to be white melamine with matching banding: 3MM on doors and drawers edges, .45MM on exposed faces and shelf edges. 5. Countertops will be PLAM, solid light gray, and triple cove. 6. Cabinets must be less than or equal to 24" wide, except those containing a sink. 7. Door pulls and hardware are included; boot drip pans and door vents are excluded. 8. Field verification of all measurements prior to construction is required. 9. Casework designs, sections, and details must be included with the bid. Contractors must be licensed and insured in the State of Michigan and provide proof with the bid. Any subcontractor hired must also be licensed and insured.
