Site work for a civil project in Nelson House, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The selected contractor will: 1. Extend and reroute sump pump discharge to prevent water accumulation near the structure. 2. Regrade site with minimum 2% slope away from building. 3. Excavate and replace frost-susceptible soils adjacent to grade beams with non-frost-susceptible granular backfill. 4. Compact granular material as specified, including placement of clay cap. 5. Restore crawlspace per detailed guidelines including vapor barrier, drainage tile, protective layers, and maintaining clearances from grade beams. 6. Coordinate with a structural engineer to assess and validate H-pile loading and lateral support.
