Reference Number 0000396248 Bid Intent Not Available The City of Longmont is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide scheduled 2025 roofing repair and replacement at eight City-owned buildings. The City will award one contract for the repair and replacement at these buildings. Additionally, we will award on-call, as-needed roofing repair, maintenance, and replacement services for facilities owned, operated, and/or maintained by the City. The Guarantee must be a Proposal Bond executed by the proposer on the City's own form, or a cashier's check payable to the City of Longmont If awarded for the 2025 Roof Replacements, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond are required within 10 days of the date the written Notice of Award, each for the total amount of the Contract Price. Liquidated damages will be charged in the amount of $2500 per day if the 2025 Roof Replacement project is not complete as specified. This includes completion of all 8 roof projects. No proposer may withdraw a proposal for a period of 60 days after the Proposal Due Date and Time. The City of Longmont reserves the right to cancel this Request for Proposal; reject any Proposal, in whole or in part; to adjust the quantity of Work to be done as mandated by budgetary requirements; and to waive informalities or irregularities in the proposals received; when it is in the City's best interest to do so.
