Question Deadline 09/05/2025 at 4:00 PM CT Proposer has any questionsregarding this competitive solicitation, the Proposer must submit such inquiries and requests for clarification via email only to the Procurement Officer at procurement@gulfbreezefl.gov or The City of Gulf Breeze is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to design, evaluate, and recommend the appropriate replacements of the existing HVAC systems at City Hall, 1070 Shoreline Drive, and the Fire Department, 313 Fairpoint Drive. The current systems are aging, inefficient, have faulty sensors, and are subject to causing frequent and often costly repairs. The goal is to install a modern, reliable, all-electric HVAC system that improves indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and zoning control across the facilities. The systems must be universal to allow all applicable HVAC repair and maintenance companies to maintain and/or perform repairs, as needed. Scope of Services: The selected firm will be responsible for the following: 3.2.1 CITY HALL - 1070 SHORELINE DRIVE: 3.2.1.1 Conduct a detailed assessment of the existing natural gas HVAC system. 3.2.1.2 Design and install a new all-electric HVAC system that meets current ASHRAE standards and local codes. 3.2.1.3 Decommission and safely remove existing gas equipment. 3.2.1.4 Upgrade or install necessary electrical infrastructure to support the new system. 3.2.1.5 Provide a new programmable building automation system (BAS), if necessary. 3.2.1.6 Ensure integration with existing energy monitoring or building control systems. 3.2.2 FIRE DEPARTMENT - 313 FAIRPOINT DRIVE: 3.2.2.1 Assess the current HVAC system for condition, efficiency, and compliance. 3.2.2.2 Design and install a replacement HVAC system with higher efficiency and improved performance. 3.2.2.3 Fuel source may be retained or replaced based on contractor recommendation and City approval. 3.2.2.4 Upgrade controls and ensure the new system integrates with existing systems. 3.2.2.5 Include necessary ductwork modifications, if required.
