This is a Sources Sought Notice issued for information and planning purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Erie VAMC, requires services to clean, test, and certify installed backflow preventers at the Erie VA Medical Center. Interested vendors must demonstrate their capability to perform these services as outlined in the draft Statement of Work (Attachment 1). The applicable NAICS code is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning), and the PSC is J045 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment - Plumbing, Heating, and Waste Disposal Equipment), with a small business size standard of $19 million. Responses must include company details, point of contact information, capability statements, relevant contract numbers (if applicable), business type and socioeconomic status, and verification in VetBiz.gov for SDVOSB and VOSB entities. Responses must also address compliance with subcontracting limitations under VAAR 852.219-74. All responses must be submitted via email to Keri Lewis by 12:00 PM ET on August 28, 2025. This notice does not constitute a solicitation, and no quotes are being requested or accepted at this time. Participation in this RFI is voluntary and at the responder's expense.
