ACM Abatement on Existing Pipe Insulation at West Broadway . Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The scope of work includes removal and disposal of approximately 1,400 linear feet of ACM pipe and hard joint insulation and all debris. It is the Asbestos Contractor's responsibility to verify quantity, conditions and access prior to submitting bids. 2. The Asbestos Contractor shall comply with DEP 310 CMR 7.15 and DLS 454 CMR 28." AThe Work of the Contract consists of: 1. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, permits, disposal, and incidentals necessary to complete the removal and legal disposal of all asbestos containing material (approximately 1,400 linear feet) from basement heating pipes. All ACM located in the basement at 37 Barry Linsky Court shall be abated at the conclusion of this contract. 2. Prior to conducting the work, the Contractor must create and submit a schedule for work to the Consultant, Universal Environmental Consultant (UEC) and to the BHA Project Manager. 3. SAMPLE Analysis for ACM to be abated has been included as an Attachment to the specifications. 4. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities.
