Reference Number 0000300821 Question Acceptance Deadline Sep 04, 2025 02:00 PM EDT Pricing Lump sum The environmental contractor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to complete the following scope: Award is subject to final approval Perform abatement of asbestos and removal of flaking lead-based paint from air handling units (AHUs) and associated ductwork, as identified in the project drawings and specifications. Ensure all work is completed in full compliance with applicable federal, provincial, and local environmental and occupational health and safety regulations, including those governing hazardous materials handling and disposal. Set up and maintain containment areas and negative air systems as required to control the spread of hazardous materials and maintain a safe working environment. Conduct air monitoring and final clearance testing as required by applicable regulations andproject specifications. Safely handle, transport, and dispose of all hazardous materials and waste in accordance with governing environmental regulations and provide proper documentation. Submit all necessary documentation, including but not limited to: - Waste disposal manifests -Air monitoring reports - Clearance certificates - Daily logs (if requested) Additionally: Scaffolding will be required to access elevated areas within the penthouse mechanical room and B4.PEWP. The contractor is responsible for the supply, installation, and removal of all scaffolding or other access equipment necessary to complete the work safely and effectively. Bids Submitted at $100,000 or Greater Shall Include the Following by the Closing Date and Time: I. A Bid Bond in a Commercially Reasonable Form or an Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit Issued by a Financial Institution Authorized to Conduct Business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule Ii Chartered Bank in the Amount of at Least 10% of the Bid Price and That Shall Be in Effect Until Forty-five (45) Calendar Days Following Closing Date. Ii. A Surety Consent Indicating That, in Accordance With Section 5.18.1. Of This Itt, the Surety Company Will Furnish the Contract Security Which Shall Include a 50% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Materials Payment Bond of the Bid Price or a Consent From the Schedule I or Schedule Ii Chartered Bank That an Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit in the Amount of 50% of the Bid Price Will Be Furnished.
