Miami-Dade County is soliciting interested contractors to register to participate and perform in Miscellaneous Construction Contract (MCC) Bids under the MCC 7040 & 7360 Plan projects. Contractual Opportunities are continuously available for all businesses located in Miami-Dade who are interested in doing business with the County. License Requirements - At the time of Bid and pursuant to the requirements of Section 10-3 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida and Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and Contract Documents, the Bidder and all its subcontractor must hold a valid, current, and active State and/or Miami-Dade County contractor's license consistent with the requirements of the Scope of Work. LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Painting and Waterproofing SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work includes but not limited to sealing, waterproofing, and painting of the exterior Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Headquarter Building, (2) Atriums, and Maintenance building. All exterior surfaces to be prepared for the installation of Pecora 165 primer or approved equal and Weatherclad elastomeric wall coating or approved equal per manufacturers recommended instructions. Remove dirt, grease, chalk, and any other foreign contaminants by power washing and wire brushing. All substrates should be removed and repaired properly. Large cracks (greater than 1/16") shall be treated with Dynatrol 1-XL Hybrid STPU sealant or approved equal. Allow sealant to cure once a tough skin has developed (60 minutes) before coating application. MDFR Fire Rescue Facilities are NOT allowed for contractor's use, therefore contractor shall consider portable toilets; service & maintain a port-o-let and other temporary equipment for contractor's use. Contractor and their employees are not allowed inside the fire stations for any reason other than emergency purposes. MDFR emergency vehicles have the Right-Of-Way at all times. Contractor's and or Subcontractors are not to block or interfere with MDFR daily operations. The last day for project RFI QUESTIONS is on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Any questions submitted after aforementioned date shall not be considered. MDFR will review and answer the questions, prior to the bid due date. Contractor must refer to the Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) and associated project documents for the detail Scope of Work.
