The City of Doral is seeking Responses from a qualified Professional to the provision of providing Architectural & Engineering Services and Related Disciplines for the Doral Central Park Parking Garage & Recreation Area. The City of Doral is soliciting Requests for Qualifications ("RFQ") from interested parties and/or firms for the provision of providing professional engineering/architectural services, permitting and construction phase services that include but are not limited to the design and preparation of construction plans and specifications, construction bid evaluation, and construction observation and administration (the "services") for Doral Central Park Parking Garage & Recreation Area and supporting infrastructure including utilities. The project referenced as part of this Request for Qualifications principally consists of the design and engineering of a new parking garage structure, approximately 252,100 square feet with roof-top pickleball courts, along with a detached two level Recreation area, approximately 24,000 square feet, located in an existing park at 3005 NW 92nd Avenue in the commercial heart of Doral. Doral Central Park is the largest park in the City, one of the largest in the South Florida region, and it is the recreation and special-events hub in Doral. The park includes amenities such as an open-air amphitheater, a complete aquatic center, multi-purpose fields, a boardwalk, an approximately 70,000 square feet indoor recreation center, tennis courts, a skate park and a pump track. Through the RFQ process described herein, qualified Professionals interested in providing such services to the City must prepare and submit a Response packet in accordance with the procedure and schedule of this RFQ. The City intends to award a contract to One (1) professionals or firms that possess the professional and administrative capabilities to provide the services described herein and will agree to work under the compensation terms and conditions determined by the City that provide the greatest benefit to the taxpayers of the City. The City reserves the right to remove any portion of this project should it deem it to be in the best interest of the City. It is the City's intent to select a firm that: (a) possesses the professional and administrative capabilities to provide the proposed services, and (b) will agree to work under the compensation terms and conditions determined by the City to provide the greatest benefit to the taxpayers of the City. The City reserves the right to remove any portion of this project should it deem it to be in the best interest of the City. The City will review submittals only from those persons and/or firms that submit a proposal that includes all of the information required by this RFQ, the determination of which shall be in the sole discretion of the City.
