The scope includes providing a quote for the purchase and installation of all fiber optic cabling (with part numbers provided by Miami-Dade County), installation to specified locations, testing using qualified optical fiber cabling testers, submission of infrastructure design and drawings for review, and inclusion of all necessary hardware, materials, surge protection, and sealing of conduit openings to protect against intrusion. The vendor must also measure and propose the exact amount of cabling needed, include all equipment and labor in the quote, and provide low voltage permit information upon completion. All work must result in 100% working communications between designated buildings and comply with ITD standards. Quotes must be fully itemized, including all materials and pricing, or will not be accepted.
