Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Richwood, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
All Bidders will be required to certify, indicate, and acknowledge that the Contractor has all appropriate licenses and meets all qualifications required by the statutes of the State of West Virginia, West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection Dilapidated Properties Program and the City of Richwood. The following will be required for the faithful performance of the contract: a Performance Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the City of Richwood, OR an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. Any necessary asbestos abatements will be part as part of the demolition contract. Bidders do reserve the right to subcontract for this portion of the work. The bid will be awarded in full to the lowest comprehensive bidder, however the City does request an individual bid price for each structure should deductive alternates be necessary.
