Site work for a water / sewer project in Hastings, Minnesota. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Bid is cancelled. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to provide all equipment, materials, and labor for the installation and testing of a new fire alarm system at the Lock House at Lock & Dam #2, which currently lacks such a system. The new system shall include, but is not limited to, a Fire Alarm and Mass Notification Control Unit (FMCU); smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide detectors; pull stations; audible/visual notification appliances; and primary and auxiliary power supplies. Upon completion, the contractor must demonstrate full operability of all system functions in the presence of Lock 2 maintenance staff and the Contracting Officer's Representative, and provide training to the maintenance staff on system operation and maintenance. Location: Lock & Dam No. 2, 1350 Lock and Dam Road, Hastings, MN 55033. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Question Deadline 09/09/2025 Any questions concerning this RFQ shall be transmitted via email to John.P.Riederer@usace.army.mil at least two days prior to solicitation close, to allow adequate response time. The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, and labor associated with the installation and testing of a new addressable fire alarm system. The new system shall include but is not limited to a Fire Alarm and Mass Notification Control Unit (FMCU); smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide detectors; pull stations; audible/visual notification appliances; and primary and auxiliary power supplies. All work shall be conducted, and components shall be designed in accordance with the requirements listed in the attached specifications. After installation, the contractor shall demonstrate the operability of all functions in the presence of the Lock 2 maintenance staff and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and provide instruction to Lock 2 maintenance staff on the operation and maintenance of the system and features.
