Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hastings, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Dakota County is upgrading its water softening system at the Judicial Center in Hastings, MN to ensure reliable, energy-efficient water treatment. The project involves replacing three fiberglass resin tanks, installing new controller valves, and programming an Automatic-Alternating Triplex system for seamless operation. The existing brine tank will remain in use. The project involves the removal and replacement of three (3) fiberglass resin tanks including resin, replacement of the controller valves on each tank, interconnection of the new controller valves and programming so that a failure of any one valve will transfer operation to another tank or during a period of regeneration. This is also referred to as an Automatic-Alternating Triplex system. The existing brine tank is to remain.
