This project is part of Dakota County's carpet replacement program, which resumed in 2025 following a three-year hiatus from 2022 to 2024. As part of the program's reintroduction, this phase will address flooring updates at two key facilities: approximately 2,500 square yards of carpet at the Judicial Center and roughly 900 square yards at the Administration Center, along with a small quantity of luxury vinyl tile (LVT) in select locations. The project areas include a mix of open office spaces, conference rooms, and individual offices that have experienced significant wear since the last replacement cycle. The overall intent of the project is to replace aging carpet with durable, modern finishes that improve the appearance, comfort, and maintainability of these facilities while supporting the County's long-term facilities management strategy.
