A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists: Preparing the tank interior and exterior, recoating, replacing vent, replacing wet bowl ladder, and necessary appurtenances. PROJECT SUMMARY The project is financed in part by the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The Contractor may be required to provide additional information or assist the City of Knob Noster with reporting as required by SLFRF and ARPA. Project has to be completed and closed by August 1,2026. The project shall consist of interior and exterior tank surface preparation. Interior shall be sand blasted, cleaned and coated. Exterior shall be water blasted, cleaned and coated. For the exterior, an alternate bid item to sand blast, clean and coat is provided. The coating was tested with the results showing high barium construction and it is assumed both the interior and exterior coatings contain the barium concentration. The Contractor shall also supply and install: Stainless steel overflow screen, interior bowl ladder and fall arrest cable equipment, new gaskets on all openings, new tank vent, repair concrete foundation with grout, clean concrete and coat with epoxy repair all pits and holes I the tank, cleanup, startup, and disinfect the tank.
