Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in West Salem, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The work of this contract consist of one sand and salt building structure and (2) alternates. Sand and salt building structure is 1,920s.f. new construction to serve the Town of Hamilton as storage for their sand and salt. The building is comprised of 8' concrete push walls with footings and 10' wood framed walls above covered in prefinished metal panels. Clear span opening full width with a trussed roof covered by a standing seam metal roof. Placement of base course throughout the site. Alternate #1 is a 204s.f. Gate house building constructed of wood framing, insulated with a single slope standing seam roof with a ductless heat pump. Question Deadline 09/04/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Architect in writing. Alternate #2 final grading and asphalt paving entire site. A single lump sum bid will be required for base bid work and Alternate #1. An itemized bid will be required for Alternate #2. An electronic bid bond shall the amount equal to at least 5 percent of the amount of the total bid, which shall be forfeited to the Town of Hamilton in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract. Town of Hamilton reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
