Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in West Milford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Proposed Renovations to Existing Toilet Facility at Bubbling Springs Park Each Bid Must Be Made Upon the Prescribed Forms, Furnished With the Contract Drawings and Specifications, Including the Non-collusion Affidavit and Ownership Statement Compliance Form and Must Be Accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond of Not Less Than Ten (10%) Percent of the Amount Bid and, Not to Exceed $20,000.00. Such Checks and Bonds Shall Be Made Payable to the Owner and Will Be Held as a Guarantee That in the Event the Bid is Accepted and a Contract Awarded to the Bidder, the Contract Shall Be Duly Executed and Its Performance Properly Secured. The Successful Bidder Shall Furnish and Deliver to the Owner a Performance and Payment Bond in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Accepted Bid Amount as Security for the Faithful Performance and Payment of the Contract. Further, the Successful Bidder Must Furnish the Policies or Certificates of Insurance Required by the Contract. In Default Thereof, Said Checks and the Amount Represented Thereby Will Be Forfeited to the Aforesaid Owner as Liquidated Damages. Each Bid Must Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Bearing the Name and Address of the Bidder, Addressed to the Owner and Labeled for the Proposed Renovations to Existing Toilet Facility at Bubbling Springs Park. the Township Council Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or to Accept Such Bids as It May Deem to Be in the Best Interests of the Township of West Milford, and Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality in the Bids Received, and the Right to Consider the Bids for Sixty (60) Days After Their Receipt. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Requirements of P.l. 2004, C. 57, Which Pertains to the New Jersey Business Registration Requirements and With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27 Which Pertains to Affirmative Action Rule and P.l.1977, C. 33, Which Refers to the Statement of Corporation Ownership. he Township Council Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or to Accept Such Bids as It May Deem to Be in the Best Interests of the Township of West Milford, and Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informality in the Bids Received, and the Right to Consider the Bids for Sixty (60) Days After Their Receipt. Person, Firm, or Corporation Desiring a Copy of the Specification Documents May Obtain Such From the Township Clerk's Office. This Project is Being Funded in Part by the Passaic County Community Development Block Grant Program. Prevailing Wages Established Under the Federal Bacon-davis Act Will Apply to This Project. The Specifications and Contract Documents Contain Requirements Addressing Prevailing Wage Rates, Labor Standards, Nondiscrimination in Hiring Practices, Goal for Minority and Female Participation, Mbe and Wbe Participation, Participation by Section 3 Residents and Businesses, and Related Matters.
