Renovation of a mixed-use development in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Work consists of: Replace fire alarm system throughout the majority of the building and tie in recently installed sub-panel system into new system for complete, fully functional addressable fire alarm system. Drawings and specifications shall be available for inspection at the Architect's Office from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday. The Owner and Architect have determined that only DPMC Trade Classifications listed below are deemed eligible to bid this project. C047 - Electrical Each bidder must deposit with their Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: "Instructions to Bidders". Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Chapter 127, P.L. 1975 (NJAC 17:27 Public Contracts Affirmative Action Statute) as amended from time to time, Prevailing Wage Law (NJSA 34:11-56.25 et seq.- NJAC 12:60), the American with Disabilities Act, UGG 200.326, and with any and all New Jersey Statutes not specified herein. All contractors are subject to background checks. Refer to Section B - Instructions to Bidders for additional information . E-mail questions to afinkle@ssparchitects.com and include the project #25-9059 The Work consists of replacement of the existing Air-Handling Unit #10 at the MCVTS Piscataway Campus with new 320ton custom modular variable air volume air handling unit (with CW Cooling and HW Heating) including associated ductwork, piping, louvers, VFDs, etc along with required modifications to piping, sprinkler system, ductwork, electrical, etc. Work also includes, replacement of natural gas fired - hot water condensing boiler, replacement of hot water circulator pumps, and installation of new rooftop relief fans.
