the following project: SFY 2024 Road Reconstruction/Improvement Project-Panorama Dr (House #100 to Bayview Ave): The purpose of this project is for the reconstruction of panorama drive from house #100 to Bayview Avenue. The work shall include 725 CY unclassified excavation, 4350 SY pavement removal, 4350 SY DGA, 238 LF Belgian block curb, 310 LF pipe cleaning and lining, 7 drainage structures, 211 LF PVC drainage pipe, 2 tide valves, pavement striping and markings, signs, driveway restoration, stone mulching, turf repair and all other incidental work necessary to complete the project. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Long Beach in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Township of Long Beach hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Township further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township. The Township of Long Beach reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids.
