4873-5882-6144 The Project is located at Benicia Park located at 7471 Bernice Avenue, Rohnert Park, CA 94928. The work is described generally as removing and replacing the existing roof that was damaged from a tree, repairing the fire damaged concession building interior including plumbing, ADA improvements to the concession stand window and re-grading the pathway to the building, and mounting of a new City furnished scoreboard. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. All contractors and subcontractors must furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner (aka Division of Labor Standards Enforcement). The prime contractor must also post job site notices prescribed by regulation. Per California Civil Code Section 9550, a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). A performance bond will also be required for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The bond(s) must be provided within ten (10) calendar days from notice of award and prior to the performance of any work. Contractor must have a valid California contractor's license, a Class B license. . The Contractor must begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after official notice by the Project Manager to proceed with the work and must diligently prosecute the same to completion within 100 working days of that Notice. Contractor shall complete all interior building improvements no later than January 16, 2026, unless extended by the City Engineer. This includes passing final inspection and meeting occupancy requirements for the Public to enter and utilize the Concession building. All prospective bidders are requested to carefully review the project scope and to examine and conduct tests or otherwise satisfy themselves as to the conditions at the Project site, subject to coordination with the office of the Rohnert Park City Engineer The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. The City may reject any and all bids and waive any minor irregularity in the bids.
