The project is expected to be awarded on October 28,2025.** The work is described generally as the demolition and replacement of a soundwall on East Cotati Avenue. The Contractor must have a valid California contractor's license, a Class A license. . The Contractor must begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after official notice by the City Engineer to proceed with the work and must diligently prosecute the same to completion within 90 business days of that Notice. Per California Civil Code Section 9550, a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). A performance bond will also be required for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The bond(s) must be provided within ten (10) calendar days from notice of award and prior to the performance of any work. The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. The City may reject any and all bids and waive any minor irregularity in the bids.
