Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Davis, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
AmTrak is needing to make this station ADA compliant by building a center platform that will be accessible either overhead and through a tunnel. The City is looking to partner with them to extend a facility to the old Hickory Lane easement for bike and pedestrian access to the station from Olive Drive. As of March 2025, AmTrak is at 60% design for the tunnel option, which will continue through to Olive Drive. Final construction is anticipated to be complete in 2027 or 2028. As of August 25, 2025 ,This project is included in the city's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
