Only Bidders who have been prequalified by the Village of Spring Lake within the required days in advance of the bid opening in accordance with the Information for Bidders section will have their bids opened and read. This project will be entirely funded by the Village of Spring Lake; no federal or state grants are involved. All Proposals shall be made in accordance with the Bidding Documents. A Proposal Guarantee payable to the Village of Spring Lake, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, must accompany the Proposal in accordance with the Information for Bidders. The right is reserved by the Village of Spring Lake to accept any Proposal, reject any or all Proposals, and to waive informalities in bidding when it is deemed to be in the interest of the Village of Spring Lake. Question Deadline 09/12/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
