Question Deadline 09/08/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Any requests for clarification regarding this ITB must be submitted in writing. All communications related to this ITB must be submitted via email to the District personnel listed below, who shall serve as the sole points of contact for this solicitation. Chippewa Valley Schools (hereinafter referred to as the "District") is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the purchase, delivery, and installation of a Walk-In Cooler/Freezer Combo at Iroquois Middle School, located at 48301 Romeo Plank Road, Clinton Township, MI 48044. The District will evaluate bids based on multiple criteria, including but not limited to: compliance with bid specifications, pricing, product availability, vendor references, and proposed installation schedule. No single criterion will be considered determinative. While the District prefers a turnkey solution that includes the purchase, delivery, electrical work, and installation of the unit, bids for purchase and delivery only will also be considered. However, Vendors offering a comprehensive turnkey proposal may receive special consideration. Purchase, delivery, and installation of a Walk-In Cooler/Freezer Combo at Iroquois Middle School A bidder will be permitted to withdraw his bid, unopened, after it has been submitted if so, requested prior to the time specified above for opening of bids. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a contract with Chippewa Valley Schools. Chippewa Valley Schools is exempt from all taxes. A tax exemption certificate will be issued upon request. All proposals shall be firm for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening until time of award. All proposals to be considered must meet or exceed all specifications herein. All Bidders must provide Iran Linked Business disclosure in compliance with Public Act 517 of 2012 and attach this information to the bid proposal. The bid proposal will be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement that their business is NOT an Iran Linked Business. The District will not consider a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized statement. Questions may be directed to Lillian Grayson, Purchasing Coordinator at purchasing@cvs.k12.mi.us no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 8, 2025. Event Bid Description: All bids must be submitted using the attached pricing form and signed by Bidder in a sealed envelope, including all affidavits. Bidders must submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of the bid proposal form, bid pricing sheet, affidavits, and all required documentation. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all items in the bid; to accept or reject any or all bids; to split the award to more than one Bidder; to waive informalities therein; or, to award the contract to other than the low Bidder. The Bidder, in submitting his/her bid, agrees to accept the decision of the District as final.
