Description: The project consists of the replacement of an existing culvert located on Fuller Road, approximately 1/3 of a mile north of the intersection of Bear Swamp Road (State Route 442) and Fuller Road, in the Town of Peru, Clinton County, NY. The culvert conveys an Unnamed Tributary to the Little Ausable River from west to east. The existing culvert consists of one (1) 72%3F%3Fdiameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP), running approximately 69 LF, and will be replaced with a 10'-0'%3Fx 8'-6%3F (clear dimensions) pre-cast, concrete box culvert, embedded 24%3F%3Finto the streambed to provide a 10'-0%3F%3FW x 6'- 6%3F%3FH clear opening. The material costs of the new precast culvert structure, including precast wingwalls, as well as delivery to the site of the new precast structures, will be by others and are not to be included in the bid. The bid prices shall include:signage and traffic control for project site and any detours for the project, clearing, demolition and removal of the existing structures including pavement, culverts, andwingwalls, temporary bypasses of the streams, preparation of the culvert/wingwall bedding and subbase materials, offloading and installation of a new box culverts and wingwalls, paving, replacement of any utilities, and restoration of site. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the Work by October 17, 2025. Substantial Completion shall include all Work except for the placement of asphalt pavement and final vegetation of the site. Final Completion of the project is required by October 31, 2025. Times listed in this paragraph are based on the selected Bidder and Owner having established an agreement and the Owner issuing a notice to proceed on or before September 16, 2025. Your bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission and with a 5% bid bond. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any formality and any and all technicalities in bids and to accept such bids as may be deemed in the best interest of the Town of Peru.
