Renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Peru, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility; and one-story above grade fire / police facility.
As of May 12, 2026, bids remain under evaluation. A recommendation for awards has been made and are in review. Separate sealed bids are requested for the renovation and addition to the existing Peru Fire District Station for Contract 2: Plumbing Construction. Bids must include all required items listed in the Bidders Checklist, such as the Non-Collusion Certificate, Statement of Surety's Intent, and Certification of Compliance with the Iran Divestment Act. Bidders must follow the Instructions to Bidders, provide Bid Security no less than 5% of the Bid Amount, and submit offers under a condition of irrevocability for 45 days after submission. The successful bidder is required to provide Payment & Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. Project Description: The project includes partial renovations and a new addition/expansion to an existing 1-story steel-frames pre-engineered building, including the removal of all wood framing from the ground floor & mezzanine Question Deadline 03/12/2026 at 3:00 PM ET All questions regarding plans and specifications must be submitted in writing to Architectural & Engineering Design Associates, P.C. Responses will be issued in writing in the form of Project Addenda and will be distributed to all plan holders
