Broken Circle-Clark Fork River Ranch Fencing Project. Question Submission Close Date 9/5/2025 5:00 PM MDT Fence location is the responsibility of the landowner/user. Legal surveys may be needed for proper fence location. The location of the fence must be as shown on the Fence Job Sheet (JS382e) or identified on a project map, and as staked in the field. Contractor shall construct approximately 3,000 linear feet of high-tensile three-wire electric fence using 12.5 -gauge wire with a minimum tensile strength of 140,000 psi. The bottom wire will be at 18" from the ground, middle at 30"and top wire at 42". Fence will be connected to existing fence at its start and end points as shown in Figure 1. As shown in Figure 1 there is an approximately 70' length of east-west running fence between the river and end point of the north-south fence which will be Contactor shall remove and replace. The State of Montana Natural Resource Damage Program (NRDP) is conducting a limited solicitation with the intention of entering into one Contract for construction services on the Broken Circle and Clark Fork River Ranches near Deer Lodge, Montana. Contractor will perform all work in accordance with the conditions in this Scope of Work and Contract. NRDP manages the Clark Fork River Ranch in order to meet multiple goals: conservation of flow to the Clark Fork River, the enhancement of fish and wildlife habitat, the provision of public access, and to facilitate upcoming restoration and remedy of the Clark Fork River. The scope of work for the Contractor includes but is not limited to the procurement of materials, installation of fencing and water gaps, removal of discarded wire as well as a solar panel, and reclamation of the site to existing conditions. The work included in this scope of work is broken into four bid items as described below. Contractor will access the site as directed by the landowner using the staging area shown in Figure 1.
