Qualified contractors are requested to submit sealed bids for the upgrade of the golf course irrigation system including labor. Full Invitation for Bids with instructions must be obtained through the Town of Harwich website. The work includes, without limiting the generality thereof, the upgrade of the existing irrigation system, including labor and electrical. In general, the work consists of the removal and replacement of existing irrigation interfaces and components, sensors, controls, swing joints, valve boxes, wiring and cable, grounding equipment, lighting detections and all related material. The contractor is responsible for providing all materials, labor, and equipment as specified to perform the work. The work performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to: Specific requirements are included The work is to consist of the installation of all materials provided by the Owner for the complete automatic irrigation system in accordance with the accompanying plans and specifications. Work also includes all wiring of electrical components and apparatusin the field asshown on the design drawings. 2.2 The Contractor is to install a complete underground irrigation system in accordance with the accompanying plans and specifications. The work shall include all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete installation of the irrigation system Upgrade. The Contractor shall follow manufacturer's recommendations for installing valves, sprinklers and all equipment of a permanently fixed nature so that installation conforms to requirements of sprinkler spacing and locations as shown on the plan. The Contractor is to install the center of all sprinklers to within one (1) foot of the location staked by Owner or authorized agent. If at any time it is found that the Contractor has failed to satisfy the plans and specifications, they shall be required to correct same at their own cost.
