The engineer's estimate is $450,000 The Public Works Department of the City of Santa Cruz will be soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the MRF Storm Water Treatment System installation. The intent in solicitating proposals is to purchase and install a stormwater treatment system to be compliant with the Industrial General Permit (IGP). The selected Vendor will contract directly with and work under the supervision of the City of Santa Cruz. The Vendor is required to administer the project in accordance with all Treatment Control Best Management Practice (BMP) standards as listed in Section X.H.6.b of the IGP; in this case, able to treat a stormwater flow of 400 gallons per minute (GPM) runoff from the MRF to meet discharge standards as stated in the table in Section 6.4 below. The project is the procurement and installation of a flow-through treatment system that can treat 400 GPM during a rain event and meet stormwater quality effluent discharge limits stated in the Responsibilities of the Vendor table at the discharge of the treatment system. The treatment system will need to be installed in a temporary location during the first wet season (2025) and reinstalled at a later date in desired location, refer to section 6.2.1 for details. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or minor defect in proposals received. You must submit a supplemental form if you make any new reportable contribution(s) while the contract, license, permit, or other entitlement is being considered by the City of Santa Cruz.
