Reference Number 0000397756 The Santa Cruz Port District invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bid proposals for the Santa Cruz Harbor Launch Ramp Sinkhole Repair Project - Phase 1. The Phase 1 work consists, in general, of demolition of existing facilities as necessary to access the sinkhole, placement of controlled low strength material (CLSM) to fill and stabilize the void, and construction of a below-grade cutoff to prevent future scour and erosion. The below-grade cutoff shall be constructed using low-mobility grout, injected in a controlled manner and under controlled pressure to form a continuous hardened barrier. Following stabilization, work includes reconstruction of the concrete slab-on-grade approach apron, restoration of adjacent asphalt paving, and restoration of affected utilities. Work shall be performed in accordance with all regulatory permits. Performance of this work requires a valid California Contractor's License Class A (General Engineering).
