METRO is seekimg a qualified design engineering consultant (Consultant) for the Rapid Corridors Improvements Project. This Project will result in the production of one or more PS&E design packages that METRO will put out to bid for construction of the Route 1 and 2 Rapid Corridors improvements. The Consultant is needed to lead the development of the project and to perform public outreach, conduct environmental evaluation along with any required supporting traffic studies, prepare project design documents, coordinate project design approval through all partnering agencies, support right-of-way acquisition activities (if needed) and prepare final construction documents. The Consultant will also be expected to support construction-phase services through project completion and provide general project management support throughout the course of the project. Staff requires the Consultant to be under contract from the beginning through the end of the Project.
