Site work for a mixed-use development in Lynch, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility; and military facility.
The contractor must furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supplies, necessary to accomplish the construction project set forth, in accordance with the attached technical specifications, drawings, and all other terms, conditions, and provisions as set forth herein. The Contractor must coordinate and report each day's work in advance with the Resident Engineer/COR. The Contractor will not be allowed to or to work at the site without the RE/COR on site to serve as an escort. All questions regarding the solicitation are due to the contract specialist by August 6, 2025 by 5:00 p.m. CT to allow for responses to be provided prior to due date for receipt of proposals. All questions clarifications or explanations from the site visit must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer and are due by September 10, 2025 by 5pm CT. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires the refurbishing of the ARSR steel tower and building exterior at QRI ARSR in Lynch, Kentucky. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, insurance, notifications, licenses, permits, fees, and supervision necessary to perform the work described in the Scope of Work and other attachments. The FAA's Acquisition Management System (AMS) applies in place of the FAR. A firm-fixed-price construction contract is anticipated. Site visit instructions are detailed in Section L, clause 3.2.2.3-63. All questions must be submitted in writing to Jason Fox by 5:00 p.m. CT on September 10, 2025. Proposals must be emailed to Jason Fox by 5:00 p.m. CT on September 17, 2025, and include 6973GH-25-R-00083 in the subject line. Offerors must be registered in SAM by the offer due date. Required forms must be completed and returned by the closing date. The FAA reserves the right to verify offeror eligibility and communicate with offerors during the SIR process. No public bid opening will be held, and late submissions may be deemed ineligible. The Contractor shall begin performance within 15 calendar days and complete it within 60 calendar days. All questions regarding the project/scope of work/plans must be received in writing to Jason Fox @ Jason.A.Fox@faa.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. CT on September 10, 2025 to allow for responses to be provided prior to due date for receipt of proposals. The estimated price range of this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
