Demolition, site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Honolulu, Hawaii. Working plans call for the demolition of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of October 06, 2025, received bids for the project that came in significantly higher than anticipated. No definite date for the rebid.** This project consists of concrete demolition, civil site work, prepping, grading, and paving of approximately 350,000 sqft of earth withing the Kalaeloa parking lot. For these areas of 230,000 sqft and 120,000 sqft, a layer of 6" State HMA #3 and a subgrade of 3" base course is to be installed. All Request for Information (RFI) questions and Substitution Requests shall be submitted in online no later than September 11, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. HST. RFI received after the stated deadline shall not be considered. Verbal RFI(s) shall not receive a response. All responses to RFI questions shall be posted online.
