Reference Number 0000301422 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/09/17 12:00:00 PM CDT Construction of bituminous pavement including milling on Provincial Access 610 (Richmond Avenue), from 18th Street to 2nd Street, for a total construction distance of approximately 1.55km, in the City of Brandon. Completion Model The Contract Will Be Assessed Liquidated Damages in Accordance With the Specification for Liquidated Damages - Completion Specified by Completion Date. Liquidated Damages Subcompletion Shall Be Defined as All Aggregate Production. Shall Be Completed by No Later Than March 31, 2026. Daily Liquidated Damages After the Specified Sub-completion Date Will Be Charged to the Contractor at the Rate of One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars Per Calendar Day Until the Work is Completed. Completion Shall Be Defined as All Work. Shall Be Completed by No Later Than July 31, 2026. Daily Liquidated Damages After This Specified Completion Date Will Be Charged to the Contractor at the Rate of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars Per Calendar Day Until the Work is Completed. In Addition to the Daily Liquidated Damages, a Lump Sum Liquidated Damage of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars Will Be Charged to the Contractor if the Work is Not Completed by July 31, 2026. In Addition the Lump Sum Liquidated Damages Will Be Charged to the Contractor on a Recurrent Annual Basis Until Substantial Completion. The Assessment of the Lump Sum Liquidated Damage Will Decrease in Direct Proportion to the Total Quantity of Bit Pvmt, Ci "B" (Oils Supp. By Cont.) Completed by the Completion Date Relative to the Total Actual Final Quantities of Bit Pvmt, Ci "B" (Oils Supp. By Cont.) Completed at the End of the Work, if the Bit Pvmt Ci "B" (Oils Supp. By Cont.) Are Incomplete by the Completion Date. Seasonal Shutdown Date The Seasonal Shutdown Date for This Project is October 1 of a Given Calendar Year, Which Does Not Apply to Aggregate Production. The Maximum Liquidated Damage Charged at Any Given Time Shall Be Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars Per Calendar Day Until the Work is Completed.
