The City of Marion is seeking sealed quotes from qualified vendors for the purchase and servicing of fire extinguishers, as well as the inspection and maintenance of one kitchen hood suppression system. The awarded vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to maintain compliance with all applicable NFPA standards and local/state fire codes. The City of Marion has the right to accept or refuse any and all bids. The invitation to bid does not bind the City of Marion to purchase anything from the bidder. Services shall include, but are not limited to: o Establish an inventory database of existing extinguishers and locations o Supply and purchase of new fire extinguishers as needed o Annual inspections of all fire extinguishers (approx 100) o Maintenance, recharging, refills, testing, and hydrostatic testing o Replacement of expired or damaged fire extinguishers o Proper tagging and documentation of inspections and services o Inspection and service of one (1) commercial hood suppression system o Replacement of parts and components as needed (must be OEM or equivalent) o Emergency services as needed (within 24hrs) All work must comply with the latest versions of NFPA 10, NFPA 17A, and applicable state and local fire regulations. The anticipated term will be one (1) year with the option to renew for up to two (2) additional one-year terms, upon mutual agreement. Interested vendors must submit: 1.
