Site work and renovation of a power facility in La Quinta, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility; and for site work for a power facility.

A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Imperial irrigation district (iid), an irrigation district established under division 11 of the California water code, sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower south-eastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified respondents to: o engineer, procure and construct the upgrade of two (2) 28 mva 92/13.2kv power transformer substation and their associated installation and equipment in an existing substation. o remove one (1) dead-end bus support and 92kv switch at the existing substation. o installation of new dead-end support, 92kv switch and 92kv breaker at existing substation. o install equipment dc panel in the existing control house o installation of two (2) 92kv breakers, distribution bay extension with transformer breakers. o installation of two (2) 15kv walk-in metal clad switchgears with (8-9) 13.2kv sections (1200a, 2000a) feeders/breakers. o installation of six (6) 833kva voltage regulators. o installation of two (2) 600kvar capacitor banks. o installation of one (1) control enclosure with relays duplex panel and battery room. o installation of two (2) substation vaults, two (2) u/g distribution ducts with 6 inch conduit system for iid distribution feeder's getaways to interconnect points. o relays, scada, fibber optics and telecom construction. o site grading and installation of perimeter chain-link fence Site walk through notes ; prospective respondents must be present and signed in prior to the start of the mandatory meeting. Anyone not signed in at the official start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to submit a proposal. Anyone who does not attend the entire mandatory meeting will not be credited with attending. Hard hats, safety glasses, closed toed shoes and long sleeves are required, all attendees must provide their own safety equipment. Question deadline 09/30/2025 at 5:00 pm pt questions concerning this secondary request for proposal should be directed in writing, to mr. Marty p. Holbrook, purchasing agent, via email to: purchasing@iid.Com. Responses to questions received will be provided digitally for download on online under this solicitation listing to all participants no later than 5:00 p.M., local time, thursday, october 2, 2025. Online q&a no Responses to invitations to bid, primary requests for proposals, secondary requests for proposals, qualifications requests and general correspondence intended for the purchasing section should be delivered as shown: 1. Deliveries via the United States Postal Service should be addressed to Post Office Box 937 and/or 333 East Barioni Boulevard address. 2. Hand deliveries, express, UPS, common carrier and other non-postal deliveries should be addressed to 235 East Barioni Boulevard. 3. IID will not be responsible for responses received late because of delays by a third party delivery service; i.e., U.S. Mail, UPS, FedEx, etc. If you have a question concerning proper delivery address, please contact the Imperial Irrigation District purchasing section at 760-339-9253. The purchasing building is open Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., closed during the lunch hour from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. We are closed alternating Fridays. Scheduled working Fridays our hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed during the lunch hour from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.. Contractor's license must be held in the legal name of the firm submitting the response.
