1. Inspections shall consist of removing the lid or grate of specified storm drain catch basins with CPS units, taking a photograph of the inside of the catch basin, and quantifying any trash/ debris for removal. Cleaning shall consist of removing accumulated trash and debris from specified storm drain catch basins with and without CPS units. The trash will be transported to the City's Public Services Center for disposal, in specific bins identified for this cleaning. Using the City provided cleaning log, the Vendor shall keep count and provide the City with the total number of catch basins cleaned, the locations of the catch basins, and the total estimated quantity in pounds of trash, landscape debris, and other waste/debris that was collected within 30 days after each cleaning event. Vendor is responsible for securely returning manhole covers and bolts to the original/prior position after inspection and/or cleaning. Vendor will provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to perform storm drain cleaning for catch basins with and without CPS units. The City of Simi Valley (City), Public Works Department, is soliciting Bids (Bids) from Vendors to provide inspection/cleaning services for catch basins with and without Connector Pipe Screen (CPS) units (Service), located throughout the City. This is a twoyear agreement beginning November 3, 2025 through November 2, 2027, with an option to extend for three (3) additional one (1) year terms. Likewise, a Performance Bond must be required of the successful bidder when stated in the specification (cash deposit, certified or cashier's check or money order may be substituted in lieu of either bond).
